My Dad’s Visit!

Well, as most of you have noticed, Chris and I have taken a break from the Tiny House build to entertain my visiting father. I was lucky enough to spend 2 weeks with my Dad. He traveled from Michigan to spend some time out on the West Coast... doesn’t sound like it’s going to be very long before he’s back out for another visit... might be a more permanent one! (Yay for Retirement)

We stopped into Ivar’s in Downtown Seattle for a little lunch. My dad was having a blast watching the Ferries come and go. As well as all the seagulls flying all around :)

One of the first hikes that I took my dad on while he was visiting. We came across this bridge and my dad held on with both hands the whole time... he is sooo cute.

On that same hike, my dad spotted this huge tree, and I insisted that he get his picture taken with it. He said, “the guys back home won’t believe this.” That’s why I promoted to take the photo. My father grew up as a logger, so almost the entire walk he would tell me how many pieces of lumber he could get out of a single tree.

Loved this old tree stretched over the path, my dad looks so tiny compared to it.

Taken on the same hike. My dad said the woods looked haunted, hehe.

Made a trip to the Museum of Flight where we got to run around on Air Force One... the older one, hehe. Crazy how much has changed with design.
